Client referral process

If you feel Play Therapy may be a suitable approach for your child you’re welcome to either contact us to book your parent only intake meeting or through the online client portal here.

The parent only intake meeting (without children present) is the first appointment which takes place, before therapy commences. This is essential as it allows for a free discussion to establish reasons for choosing play therapy, establishing goals, and getting to know your child and their needs. After this first meeting the play therapist will discuss a suitable play therapy approach or will integrate approaches to best suit your child and family. Then play therapy will commence.
